The main theme that emerges from Assaf Matarasso’s photographic artwork is identity.
His work represents an attempt to reveal one's true self,  kept tightly guarded underneath layers of protection. The unraveling of those external elements manifesting as social masks, fear and despair is the essence of his creations.
His work is recognized all over the world. He participated in numerous of exhibitions in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Israel and United States. Took part in Recontres d’Arles, exhibited in Foto Fever festival, Paris. Named as one of the 12 finalists of the Luxemburg Art Prize, displayed in Fresh Paint festival in Israel and L.A Photo located in California.

She holds a BA in English, Creative Writing  and Dance from Connecticut College, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and an MFA in Dance/ Somatic Practice (Yoga) from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her life’s work centers around asking beautifully unanswerable questions, and discovering alive answers through wholehearted, creative response.

Dr. Ingrid Gardill

She studied Art History and German Literature in Berlin. For several years she was a jury member of the Berlin Senate for Culture. Her main focus is the sacred art of the Middle Ages and the art movements of the present. She works as an author and curator in high-profile projects and in an art association. As author of the yearbook series “Internationale Kunst Heute” she has selected around 700 contemporary artists from 75 countries and written the reviews of their works.

He has appeared in many relevant group exhibitions around the world.

Adam Mazur Phd - art critic, art historian, curator, editor-in-chief of "BLOK" magazine. His main interests are contemporary art and documentary photography. Assistant professor at the Artistic University in Poznan.

Published books "Histories of Photography in Poland 1839-2009" (2010), "New Phenomena in Polish Photography after 2000" (2012), "Mutilated World. Histories of Photography in Central Europe" (2019). Curated several group and solo shows at different venues in Poland (Lodz, Cracow, Poznan) and abroad (Madrid, Bratislava, Berlin, Praha, Istanbul). Among his recent exhibitions are Martha Rosler's solo show at CCA Ujazdowski Castle (2014, with Kaja Pawelek), Artur Zmijewski at MWW Wroclaw (2016), Pawel Althamer at PGS Sopot (2016), Piotr Uklanski at National Museum in Cracow (2018).
